About this space
The Bacchus Marsh Public Hall has proudly served as a community meeting place for over 120 years, hosting a rich variety of events including balls, dances, concerts, weddings, engagements, birthdays, theatre performances, movie screenings, Council meetings, and public forums.
This historic venue offers two flexible spaces for hire:
Full Complex - Exclusive use of the entire facility and includes the Main Hall and the Supper Room
Main Hall – Seats up to 450 guests, ideal for large-scale events and performances.
Supper Room – Seats up to 120 guests, perfect for smaller gatherings, meetings, or workshops.
You can also hire the entire facility for exclusive use, and upgrade your booking to include access to the modern commercial kitchen, ideal for catering and food preparation. Please note all equipment including crockery, cutlery, pots, pans and cooking utensils must be supplied by the hirer. See frequently asked questions for full commercial kitchen details.

Rules
Please refer to the Terms & Conditions for full details on facility rules and conditions of use. In addition to these, please note the following additional conditions:
Bond Amounts: Bonds can range from $250 - $1000 per booking. Certain bookings may require a higher bond. The applicable bond amount will be communicated prior to booking approval.
After-Hours Access: Requests for opening or closing the facility outside of business hours will incur a $75 fee, which will be deducted from the bond.
Cleaning Fees: If the Conditions of Hire are not met:
A $65 cleaning fee will apply during business hours.
A $95 cleaning fee will apply after hours.
These fees will be deducted from the bond.
Additional details
Parking is available behind the RSL building, adjacent to the Hall. There is a loading zone is located at the west side of the stage area, strictly for the loading and unloading of equipment into the Hall.
