Darley Park Recreation Reserve

Darley Park Recreation Reserve, situated on Grey Street in Darley, serves as a hub for a wide range of sporting and community activities. The highlight of the park is the newly completed Darley Park Community and Sports Centre pavilion, designed to meet the growing demands of the local community.

The pavilion features:

• Umpire change rooms accommodating diverse needs

• Public amenities with accessible entry and safety considerations

• First aid rooms

• Storage facilities

• A commercial kitchen

• A meeting room and social space equipped with technology to support community programs and collaboration

• Female-friendly change amenities catering to AFL, netball, and cricket.

This modern facility enhances accessibility and inclusion, particularly for female participants, and provides a prime venue for large-scale events within the local neighbourhood.

Additionally, Darley Park offers various recreational facilities, including a playground, picnic and BBQ areas, a BMX track, a native garden, and pathways.

The development of the Darley Park Community and Sports Centre was a collaborative effort between Moorabool Shire Council, the State Government, and the Darley Football Netball Club.
