About this space
Havelock North Library – A Flexible and Welcoming Community Space
Situated in the heart of the village, Havelock North Library is a much-loved community space that supports a wide range of activities and events. It offers a warm, flexible environment that caters to individuals, groups, and community organisations alike.
The library houses two bookable meeting rooms, which are among the most frequently used features of the space. In addition to these rooms, there are a number of inviting areas throughout the library that can be used for small gatherings, informal meet-ups, or quiet group sessions by arrangement.
Throughout the year, the library also plays host to author talks, special events and programmes, utilising our multi-purpose space to create engaging and accessible experiences for the public.
While we currently don’t have any many booked community groups using the library spaces on an ongoing basis, we are very open to supporting this kind of use in the future. Whether it’s book chats, hobby groups, or creative activities, we welcome conversations about how the library can continue to serve as a vibrant community hub for Havelock North.
