SpacetoCo Host since October 2021Tennis Auckland provides four public tennis facilities in Auckland at ASB Tennis Arena (managed by Next Generation Club), Merton Rd Tennis Centre in St Johns, Nicholson Park in Mt Eden and Manukau Tennis Centre in Manukau. Tennis Auckland’s vision is to make tennis a part of every Aucklander’s life and the purpose is to advance the sport of tennis in the region by enabling rewarding tennis opportunities for everyone on a sustainable basis.
About this space
The large meeting room is a great multi-functional space suitable for regular groups or bigger celebration events. This space is ideal for: Community gatherings and groups, huis, special interest groups, training and workshops.
The space is part of the Tennis Centre and overlooks the indoor tennis arena, so although the room is private to your booking, there may be other users in the centre at the same time - a caterer currently uses the kitchen during the week and staff may occasionally need to access their office if your booking is during working hours, but this should not disturb your booking.
Venue capacity: Up to 50 people seated, or 120 standing.

You are welcome to bring and serve food in this space and a small kitchenette area is available to make tea & coffee. If you use the kitchenette, please book enough time to clean up and leave it as you found it.
There is an on-site caterer - please contact us direct for a menu.
Please contact us direct if you wish to have alcohol at your event.
Decorations & music
You are welcome to bring decorations for your event (except confetti). Please do not use pins to attach to the wall, and all decorations must be removed at the end of your booking.
The centre is located in a residential area and due care and respect must be shown to neighbouring properties with regard to noise both during and after the event.
Hirers are responsible for managing noise during the event. Noise from amplifiers and loudspeakers must be kept to a moderate level at all times.

Access
The space is upstairs and there is wheelchair access via a ramp. The centre has 1 disables parking slot.

Rules
Hours of Activity
Hirers may not enter any facility until the time booked and all functions must finish at the completion of the booked period. The booking period must include setting up, dismantling, and cleaning of the venue.
Cleaning
A $150.00 cleaning fee will be added to all weekend functions. All other hirers are responsible making sure the room is left clean and tidy and failure to do so will result in these costs being deducted from your bond.
ALWAYS leave the front of the building clear for emergency vehicles and for vehicles dropping off disabled people.
Smoking
This is a smoke free facility - no smoking or vaping.
Fire Alarm
If you set off the fire alarm, there may be a fine if the fire service are called.
Additional details
There is plenty of free on-site parking, as well as on the street. Please note that the car park outside the building (next to tennis courts) is for STAFF ONLY. DO NOT park on the grass or yellow marked parking areas.
