Moodjar Reception Room
About this space
The Reception Room is a flexible event space that can accommodate up to 47 people. The adjacent breakout area overlooks Walyalup Koort, St John’s Church and the Walyalup Koort Playground. This level also has universal access toilet facilities, a small bar and commercial kitchen.
Equipped with a projector screen and in-room audio, live streaming can also be set up. Hirers will need to bring their own laptop to connect. NOTE: If you plan to livestream, Apple laptops are not compatible.
This room is not accessible to the public; hirers will need an access card to use the lifts to access the rooms and will be responsible for collecting their guests and taking them to the meeting rooms, this also includes any catering deliveries.
The Reception room has direct access to our bar kiosk and kitchenette and can be set up and configured according to the hirer’s instructions.

All applications are subject to the Organiser being responsible for compliance with legislative requirements including City policies, local laws and regulations
The organiser agrees to supply correct and honest information on any forms, documents, plans or other instruments requested by the City.
The City reserves the right to refuse hire to any individual, group or organization
Hire times are to incorporate any time required for pre-event and post-event deliveries, bump in and out, mark up and/or set up arrangements and must be indicated on the application form.
Organiser must be over 18 years old and have the capacity and authority to enter into a legal agreement.
This is a secure building. You will be responsible for escorting guests to the hired space.

Walyalup Civic Centre is in the heart of Fremantle and is accessible by bus or rail. Please note there is allocated parking. Street parking is available or alternatively we recommend Parry Street Park car park or FOMO secure parking.
