About this space
Garden Street is a warm, friendly, classic Brunswick Victorian-style house, perfect for small business meetings, flexible workspace, group meetings, or smaller children’s birthday parties. The space can be booked casually or regularly—advance booking is required.
Hirers have access to all areas: the kitchen, childcare hall, back classroom, and playground with sandpit. The space is equipped with trestle tables, chairs, children’s tables & chairs, big toys, and a cot (cot sheet not provided).
If you haven’t seen the venue yet, please contact the Garden Street team on (03) 9387 9901 to arrange a short tour. Tours are generally available 12:00–12:30 pm Wednesday to Friday, so let them know which day works for you.

Rules
To ensure a safe and peaceful environment for all, please note that amplified music and alcohol restrictions apply. Hirers are encouraged to bring their own cutlery, cups and any additional catering equipment they may need.
At the end of your booking, please leave the space clean for the next user: sweep and mop the floors, wipe down all surfaces, and ensure the kitchen is left tidy. All rubbish must be taken with you.

On-street parking is available along Garden Street and surrounding streets—please check signage for time restrictions. The venue is well serviced by public transport, with the Route 19 Sydney Road tram only 450m away, the Route 1 and 6 Lygon Street tram 700m away, and Jewell Train Station 750m away, making access easy for guests.
