About this space
Our main hall is a bright, character-filled mudbrick space with large windows overlooking Warr Park, providing plenty of natural light—perfect for classes, workshops, or small group sessions. The hall includes a well-equipped kitchen with an oven, fridge, microwave, benchtop space, and hot-water urn, ideal for simple catering, tea, coffee, or snacks.
The space flows easily into a shaded private courtyard, offering a calm environment. With its mix of charm, practicality, and park-side views, the hall is ideal for movement, wellness, creative, or educational activities during the week. The hall accommodates up to 60 people for seated events with tables and chairs, around 12 participants for floor-based movement classes, and approximately 20 for dance or active classes.
Weekday hire supports the ongoing programs and community initiatives of Brunswick Neighbourhood House.

All bookings are initially marked pending while we confirm space suitability. We review your hire purpose and timetable to ensure it won’t conflict with other activities in the house, including sound levels, room proximity, and shared access paths.
To ensure a safe and peaceful environment for all, amplified music restrictions apply. At the end of your booking, please leave the space clean for the next user.

On-street parking is available along De Carle Street and surrounding streets—please check signage for time restrictions. The venue is well serviced by public transport, with the Route 19 Sydney Road tram only 270m away and Anstey Train Station just 450m away, making access easy for guests.
