Rules
Please ensure you have read the full “Facility Hire- Terms & Conditions” document to understand your requirements as a hirer.
You’re responsible for setting up and packing up the venue – make sure your booking time includes enough time to manage this.
No vehicles allowed on turf areas (except emergency vehicles)
The facility must be cleaned up and tidied at the end. If the Oval is not left clean and tidy at the end of any particular use of the Oval by the hirer, the Council may undertake or arrange cleaning and recover its costs of doing so from hirer.
All electrical equipment brought on site must be tested and tagged.
No smoking within 10metres of the oval perimeter and changeroom and toilet facilities.
The use of music systems or amplified sound is only permitted with prior approval from Council.
Dispose of any rubbish in the on-site bins and take any extra rubbish with you.
Balls are not to be kicked or handballed within any areas of the Building.
Alcohol consumption can be permitted with Council approval, please refer to the Liquor Licensing information in the Terms & Conditions.

Please return the keys to the Council office to avoid any late fees.
The Council events team will be in contact if additional information is required or a permit needs to be issued prior to approving your hire.
The hirer must not interfere with any buildings, structures, fixtures, fittings, or equipment located or stored on the Premises.
The oval is irrigated with recycled water and hirers must comply and take all reasonable steps to ensure that its employees, officers, members, contractors and invitees comply, with all risk management plans (and as varied from time to time) relating to the use of recycled water within the Premises.
The oval is unavailable for 10 days over the hosting of the Whyalla Show in August of each year.
