Category 1 users - Not for profit - Incorporated or unincorporated associations, interest groups, small social events. Groups which do not generate a profit from the intended hire and provide a community benefit from the activity.
Category 2 users - Large social and community events or commercial with community benefit where the hirer that is or isn't charging for an activity and where there is a community benefit such as a health benefit.
Category 3 users - Commercial - Full commercial where admission fee is being charged to the public. Any hirer that is intending to solely generate a commercial profit from the activity.

The venue features a large 9x13m stage with 3-phase power, two fully air-conditioned dressing rooms, and a lectern—perfect for performances and formal events. The hall is fully air-conditioned for comfort year-round and includes 20 round tables (seating 8 each), 30 rectangular tables, and 300 chairs to accommodate various event layouts.
The kitchen is equipped with a stove, microwave, fridge, two industrial dishwashers, and a serving hatch. While it is a standard kitchen (not commercial grade), it includes plates, cutlery, urns, and minimal glassware—ideal for self-catering or use with external caterers. A bar with a cold room is available for an additional charge, as is a PA system and microphone.
Please note: As the hall is located in a residential area, all users must be mindful of noise levels and respectful of nearby residents. Unruly behaviour or noise complaints may result in accountability to the Queensland Police Service.

Rules
Supervision and Responsibility
The hall will not be hired unless suitable adult supervision is present at all times during the hire period.
The hirer is fully responsible for all activities, attendees, and any damage or incidents that occur during the hire.
Supervision must be planned and disclosed prior to the event. If adequate supervision details are not provided, the hire may be refused or the hirer may be required to register the event with the Queensland Police Service – Party Safe Program.
Hire Period and Charges
- Charges apply from the time of entry to the time of exit, including setup and pack-down. The hall is unavailable to others during this time.
Facilities and Usage
General and recycling bins are provided. Please use them appropriately.
If alcohol will be sold, a current permit and event insurance certificate must be provided. Failure to do so may result in cancellation.
No signage, advertisements, or decorations may be affixed to the building without prior approval.
Camping is strictly prohibited on the premises and surrounding land.
All doors and windows must be locked and secured before vacating.
Prohibited Activities
The following are not permitted within the facility:
Tap dancing on the main floor
Animals
Smoking, vaping, flammable materials, or naked flames
Helium balloons
Confetti, rice, or glitter-type products
Cleanliness and Departure
The hirer must leave the hall clean and tidy by the end of the hire period. Returning to clean or collect items outside of the booking time is not allowed unless the following day is booked.
Main floor and stage must be swept (not mopped). If mopping is necessary, use warm water only.
Toilets, dressing rooms, bar, and kitchen must be cleaned thoroughly. Even if unused, the kitchen must be checked for guest use.
All rubbish must be placed in the appropriate external bins. Do not leave bags outside or contaminate recycling bins. Non-compliance may result in a rubbish removal fee deducted from your bond.
External areas including gardens, lawn, and car park must be left in the same condition as found. A cleaning fee may apply if not maintained.
Furniture and Decorations
Furniture removed from storage must be cleaned and neatly restacked. Do not over-stack chairs. Use trolleys where available and carry items—do not drag them across the floor.
Decorations are welcome using designated hooks only. Do not install or move hooks.
Keys and Access
- Keys/access cards must be returned the next business day. Lost keys/cards must be replaced at the hirer’s expense. If the bond does not cover the cost, the hirer must pay the difference.
Safety
- The hirer is responsible for the safety of all guests and must be familiar with the Fire and Evacuation Plan located on-site.
