About this space

Point Chevalier is a beautiful community with an attractive location, beautiful sunsets, a stroll to the beach with the views of the Harbour Bridge and Sky Tower.

Our premises are in a Central location only 15 minutes from the CBD, bus stop right outside the front door, Plenty of off street parking on the main route to the beach and local shops.

We can seat up to 250 people comfortable with our modern furnishings, decor to suit any occasion, A lovely outdoor under cover area.

A fully stocked bar with all your desires to tempt those thirsty tastebuds and at a price that doesnt break the bank! In fact our most expensive beverage is $7!

We have in house catering with some of the most delicious meals on offer as well as a fully functionable kitchen for you to come in and take care of the catering yourselves.

We have DJs available on request that can play the most upto date beats to have you and your guests dancing the night away.

Rules

The Hirer of the Point Chevalier Pirates Rugby League Club Hall, having read and understood the following conditions of hire, will append his or her signature below as an act of good faith, and in acceptance of these conditions:

  1. A bond deposit of $250 is required for all club bookings and must be paid when booking the club. This bond will be confirmation of your booking and until this is received your booking is not confirmed.

  2. Complete payment for the hire of the hall will be made 14 days before the premises are occupied.

  3. Please provide a bank account number that the bond can be returned to, take note that this may take up to 14 days to return.

  4. Every care must be exercised to ensure that the hall, its fittings and equipment are maintained in good clean condition.

  5. The Hirer will be held fully responsible for any damage caused to the premises or facilities of the League Club during occupation and will report such breakages or damage as soon as possible to the Club Secretary or Chairman.

  6. Staples, tacks, nails or other devices damaging to surfaces must not be used in the erection of decorations. The Hirer’s decorations must be removed after the function. Any existing decorations must not be interfered with.

  7. Tables and table tops must be placed back in their original position.

  8. Kleensacks and cleaning materials are not provided; the Hirer is to supply their own. Although minimal cleaning supplies are at the club.

  9. Furniture is not to be dragged across the wooden floor; it must be lifted to avoid scratching.

  10. Liquor must not be consumed on the outside of the building.

  11. No outside liquor or drinks are to be bought inside the Club.

  12. If the bar is needed for the event, a fee off $150 per bar staff is to be paid by the Hirer.

  13. The Club has a Smoke Free Policy, smoking in any part of the Club is prohibited, and the allocated smoking area of the Club is out the back.

  14. The noise level must be kept to a reasonable level in consideration of the Clubs neighbours, Music, reproduced (DJ) must cease at 11.00pm at the latest, live is to be authorised by the Point Chevalier Rugby League Club Committee when first enquiring about the Club Booking.

  15. Security may be needed, depending on booking made and at the discretion of the Club Committee. This is a definite must for all 21st birthday Club Hireage.

  16. A charge will be made for Club cleaning, If the Club is not left in the satisfactory condition. This fee is deducted from the Bond dependent upon compliance with the Club Hall Hire conditions listed here-in, and the Club being left in a state of good repair and cleanliness consistent with the standards set by the Committee.

  17. At the conclusion of a function all floors must be vacuumed, swept and washed, furniture thoroughly wiped down and returned to original positions. All basins and benches and the stove and refrigerator are to be wiped and kept clean.

  18. At the conclusion of a function, the Hirer is to remove all refuse (food, scraps, rubbish) from the premises, including the parking area and the surrounding area of the club.

  19. It is the responsibility of the Hirer to ensure that all taps, heaters, stoves, gas ovens, power and lights are switched off, all windows are closed, doors locked and the building secured before leaving. All fire exits are to be left clear at all times.

  20. All decorations are to be removed from ceilings and walls.

  21. The Club will be inspected after the use and upto 2 days later by one of the Committee members, the Hirer will be notified immediately if any damage has been noted, or if the general state of cleanliness is not to standard.

  22. Access to the Club will be made available and confirmed at the time of the booking.

  23. Bond refund will be deposited into an authorised account provided and may take up to 2 weeks.

Host's Cancellation Policy
100% refund on cancellations up until 14 days before your booking. After that, there are no refunds on cancellation.
Parking and Public Transport Information

We are very fortunate to have the main bus route to everywhere located right outside our front door.

We have plenty of off street parking that is very secure.
