Piggy is an enticing space stuck delightfully in the middle between Daisy Chang and The Apothecary. A seductive mix of cocktails and wines awaits you in Piggy’s lounge. With a nod to South-East Asian ingredients and new plays on old classics, Piggy’s creations are a breath of fresh air in historical Howick. Our bar space is ideal for a private party or celebration for up to 50 people. This is an intimate, grown up space with plush velvet bar stools, marble topped bar and perfectly lit for that New York hidden gem vibe. This would be the perfect function space to celebrate a significant birthday, have a book or product launch, or host a reunion.

There is no minimum hire spend, but we do ask for evening exclusive use functions that you have a minimum of 40 people.

In the day, we welcome bookings from people wanting to use our space for meetings, working lunches, meet ups or networking. Your guests can order from our cafe menu at The Apothecary, or we can work with you to create drinks or menu options. There are plenty of options, from canapes and platters, to buffets, set menus and working breakfast, brunch or lunch. our bar is fully stocked with a range of craft beers, NZ wines and incredible cocktail selection.
