A central Urban Farm supporting connected, sustainable communities. Established on a former industrial site in East Perth, this polluted site has been lovingly rehabilitated by volunteers to become a Western Australian icon for environmental sustainability and community engagement. We provide space and opportunities to build community connections, and educate and enable people to live sustainably.

About this Space

Perth City Farm is a not-for-profit community organisation and unique urban sanctuary situated in East Perth.
The space has beautiful natural lighting, white-washed walls, industrial flooring, high ceilings and exposed metal beams, creating a perfect blank canvas for any event. You can check out more photos of the space on our website here

Minimum hire period: 3 hours, or 6 hours of recurring bookings.

MON-THURS hire: Price drops to $75/hr if booked more than 6 hours, and maximum charge is $675 even if booked for more than 9hours. Use code 'PCF15OFF' when booking.

Our industrial, warehouse-style Art Room is perfect for small workshops and conferences.... to huge parties and launches! The room fits 150 people seated or 200 standing and has access to an adjoining small courtyard that overlooks our nursery and fruit garden.
There is 2x fridges in the space for food and drink storage, and the roller doors make it a perfect fit for food trucks/stalls.

***Surcharges applicable for the following days***
Fridays ONLY AVAILABLE for full day hire. Access from 9am, curfew of 2am, pack up by 10am Sunday. Cleaning fee mandatory.
Saturdays ONLY AVAILABLE for 11-3pm hire block. Guests may need to be off site by 2.30pm.
Sundays ONLY AVAILABLE for 6am-12noon block, 3pm-9pm block, OR full day (6am-midnight).

As a BYO venue - you a responsible for the hiring and set up of all equipment, furniture and decor, and need to organise your own food and drink. We have a small rustic furniture package available to hire, as well as a budget friendly set of plastic furniture (both suitable for 50pax). If hired, you are responsible to set these up and pack them away. Your hire period must include the time you need for set up and pack down.
If hiring the space during office hours, we also have a small AV package available to hire.

This space has extra items and charges that can be added to your booking. Some may be required depending on your booking time and this will be shown at the checkout.

Rules

Noise limitations from the City of Perth must be adhered to.

Space fits 200 people cocktail or 150 seated.

Public liability insurance certificates must be provided for all businesses/suppliers operating in the space or bringing equipment on-site.

Security is mandatory for events with a large number of guests under 25yo. Failure to disclose this information will result in loss of security bond.

Additional details

Host's Cancellation Policy
100% refund on cancellations up until 60 days before your booking. After that, no refunds on cancellation.
Parking and Public Transport Information

We are just down the stairs of Claisebrook Train Sation (2 stops from the City) and have a Yellow CAT bus stop just out the front. The City of Perth Royal St Carpark is just across the road...however during office hours this can be very busy! Before 8am and after 4pm Mon-Fri is generally fine.
