Established on a former industrial site in East Perth, this polluted site has been lovingly rehabilitated by volunteers to become a Western Australian icon for environmental sustainability and community engagement. About this space
This 'high risk' classified commercial kitchen in East Perth is the perfect fit for intimate cooking workshops or simple catering prep. You can also 'add on' the use of our foyer space to run larger workshops or a small pop-up dining experience.
This space is available for hire Monday - Thursday on an hourly basis. This kitchen is equipped with a commercial dishwasher, oven, microwave, stovetop, rangehood and two fridges.
PLEASE NOTE There is no capacity for long-term storage for dry, refrigerated or frozen goods. If you are hiring the kitchens overnight, you may be able to leave items overnight but we have no capacity for multi-day storage.
CLEANING AND STOCK you need to ensure you leave the kitchen in the condition you find you. You are responsible for providing dishwasher tablets, sponges, tea towels, cleaning products, mops and brooms. Also, remember to bring a long handle gas lighter for the commercial oven.

Rules
If you are hiring any furniture to accompany your kitchen hire, you will be responsible for taking these out of storage and putting back away.
You will be responsible for ensuring the kitchen is left clean and must provide your own cleaning equipment.
If the space or any items are left incorrectly, this could result in a reduction of your security bond.
Additional details
If hiring the space before 8am and after 4pm, we may be able to accommodate on-site parking.
We are just down the stairs of Claisebrook Train Sation (2 stops from the City) and have a Yellow CAT bus stop just out the front. The City of Perth Royal St Carpark is just across the road...however during office hours this can be very busy! Before 8am and after 4pm Mon-Fri is generally fine.
