PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THE HIRE OF THIS FACILITY CAN ONLY BE HIRED UNDER THE NEW COVID RULES WHICH PRESENTLY ALLOWS FOR A MAXIMUM OF 110 PEOPLE TO USE THE FACILITY AT THE ONE TIME.

If you're hiring the Town Hall for a meeting, you will not have to complete a COVID-Safe Plan as Council has one for the Town Hall for the activity of “meeting”. To complete a COVID-Safe Plan you will need to know that the Town Hall is 147sqm. Please ensure every person attending your function scans the QR code contained in the COVID-Safe Plan or completes the Contact Tracing Record - Attendance at Public Activities - see link to download a copy:
If applicable, you may also be required to nominate a COVID-19 Marshal:

Located in the main street of Mount Barker, Council's Town Hall offers the following:
• Capacity for 140 people - accommodates 118 seated patrons, with additional staging capacity if necessary

Rules
All breakages must be reported to Council. An audit of all equipment, including crockery & cutlery will be made after your hire;
No alcohol is to be sold on the Premises, unless a copy of any applicable Liquor Licence is provided to Council before any such event, and consent has been granted;
Please note that if Council deems the activity proposed to require security, all costs associated will be at the expense of the hirer;
The Town Hall must be returned to its original condition by; washing toilets, washing dishes dry/put away, vacuum and mop all floors and all rubbish removed from the premises, therefore please ensure you book enough pre-event and post-event to facilitate this;
Furniture and equipment must be returned to where you found them;
As the Town Hall includes retail tenancies, the front door entering the Town Hall must always be locked for security reasons;
- The fire exit side door of the Main Hall must remain shut at all times;
- Parking is at the rear of the Town Hall near the Public Toilets on Stephen Street.

Parking is available behind the Town Hall. Get off at Bus Stop 64 on Hutchinson Street, Mount Barker.
