The Food Technology Building consists of two training kitchens each equipped with individual cooking stations and theory spaces suitable for cooking classes, product or food demonstrations, community cook ups, even photo shoots or product testing.

TC102 - Kitchen #1

• 11 Workstations - each equipped with Electric (domestic) oven with 4 x induction cooktops, microwave, wash station and basic cooking & measuring utensils.

• Dishwasher

• Demonstration mirror

• Theory/workspace - tables & chairs to accommodate 20 people

• Whiteboard & large LCD screen

TC103 - Kitchen #2

• 8 Workstations - each equipped with Electric (domestic) oven with separate grill with 4 x gas cooktops, microwave, wash station and basic cooking & measuring utensils.

• Large gas oven with 6 x gas burners

• Dishwasher

• Theory/workspace - tables & chairs to accommodate 18 people

• Whiteboard & large LCD screen

Hirers will have access to the following items as a part of their hire. Items are found across both kitchens.

• Trays - flat oven, muffin, pizza etc

• Cake tins - various sizes

• Stockpots & pans

• Measuring bowls & jugs

• Cutlery & crockery

• Mugs & glassware

• Colanders

• Airing racks

• Casserole & souffle dishes
