Welcome to The Deck, Perth's most exciting new small bar with a big vibe situated amongst an art lovers haven, The Pickle District. Since opening in January 2023, The Deck is quickly building a reputation of excellence with an unmatched, unique atmosphere attributed to a number of elements that make this small bar something extra special.

The Deck features an array of delicious, carefully curated summer inspired cocktails, select tap beers including Shelter Lager, Balter XPA and Melbourne Bitter plus some hard to find WA made wines from Peace Tree Estate and Felix Caspar Wines.

The Deck exuberates good times in an open air club vibe atmosphere, clearly visible to those travelling up and down the Mitchell Freeway. Directly opposite Scitech, The Deck boasts vibrant red, blue and pink outdoor lighting, bright red umbrellas, recycled timber benches and tables made from the old Toodjay Bridge with a classic Indonesian inspired DJ hut.

Tucked behind the beautiful Moreton Bay Fig Tree's that line Old Aberdeen Place, a street that lays within The Pickle District - arguably Perth's only and best art precinct, The Deck, albeit walking distance from Leederville, Northbridge and Perth's CBD, somehow manages to take it's patrons away from the inner city grind. By enticing a relaxing mindset The Deck enables patrons to easily feel as if they're somewhere distant, possibly rural, away from the City's hustle and bustle.

Since opening the first licensed premise at the 7 Old Aberdeen Place, West Perth, known as Old Habits, the intention of licensee and owner Justin Ward, has always been to open, The Deck. With Old Habits catering to live music and art lovers, The Deck has now added that final piece to the puzzle. Cocktails that rival any bar in the big smoke, vibey tunes provided by some of the best DJ's in Perth, the odd international touring act and last but not least, a classic selection of freshly made wood fired pizzas that satisfy even the most picky pizza lover.
