The Perth Centre for Photography was established in 1992 as the Photography Gallery of WA. PCP is Perth’s only dedicated photographic arts organisation. Our aim is to promote and support emerging and established photo-based art in Western Australia.

About this Space

Situated in the heart of the Perth CBD at the King Street Art Centre, the Perth Centre for Photography is available for any professional event, whether it's a product launch, training event, meeting, soiree, or business networking event.

Guests are greeted by a large glass entry onto wooden floorboard and high ceilings in a space equipped with air conditioning, a kitchenette, wifi and two connected areas spaces which can cater to any style of event, including seminars, conferences, workshops, launches, meetings, cocktail receptions, and seated long table dinners.

A data/image projector, trestle tables and 15 x chairs are available upon request and subject to availability.

A large lobby and outdoor area are also connected for those who would like to organise multi-layered larger events. Combine spaces to create a dynamic event your guests will remember.

Our exhibition program is comprised of some of the best local, regional, national and international contemporary visual art. An exhibition program can be shared with those interested in planning their event amongst art of their choice.

Rules

Booking of our venue indicates your acceptance of our Terms and Conditions of Hire. Please read the attached PDF document prior to booking.

  • A refundable bond of $1000 will be applicable and refunded within 7 working days unless space is not left as found or if any damage or mess is remaining following the hired event date.

  • Hirers are responsible for the setup and clean up of the venue during booking duration. Set up and clean up must be done within the time of hire, not outside of the booking.

  • All Sunday bookings require a minimum booking of 4 hours.

  • Hourly hire rate includes 1 x staff member onsite during your event.

  • Security may be required at large events over 100 people. Security can be arranged in lieu of onsite staff. The charges for security are a $140 one-off fee, then $40 per hour.

Additional details

Host's Cancellation Policy
100% refund on cancellations up until 14 days before your booking. After that, no refunds on cancellation.
Parking and Public Transport Information

Ample street parking and public transport. CPP His Majesty's Theatre parking is next door to the venue.
