About this Space
Situated in the heart of the Perth CBD at the King Street Art Centre, the Perth Centre for Photography is available for any professional event, whether it's a product launch, training event, meeting, soiree, or business networking event.
Guests are greeted by a large glass entry onto wooden floorboard and high ceilings in a space equipped with air conditioning, a kitchenette, wifi and two connected areas spaces which can cater to any style of event, including seminars, conferences, workshops, launches, meetings, cocktail receptions, and seated long table dinners.
A data/image projector, table and chairs are available upon request and subject to availability.
A large lobby and outdoor area are also connected for those who would like to organise multi-layered larger events. Combine spaces to create a dynamic event your guests will remember.
Our exhibition program is comprised of some of the best local, regional, national and international contemporary visual art. An exhibition program can be shared with those interested in planning their event amongst art of their choice. There are also gaps throughout the year where the gallery walls are a crisp blank canvas for creative event design.

Rules
Hirers are responsible for the setup and clean up of the venue during booking duration. Set up and clean up must be done within the time of hire, not outside of the booking. Hirers must bring their own cleaning products.
Your responsibility - For public events and consumption of alcohol please check the laws around occasional liquor licences at RGL. https://www.rgl.wa.gov.au/liquor/liquor-applications/licence/occasional
Security: Hirers will be met at the gallery on the day of the event to access the space for set up. It is the hirer’s responsibility to ensure that the alarm is re-activated properly and that the venue is fully locked on the completion of their booking. Penalties will apply if security personnel are called out. Keys must be returned promptly after the event. A key drop off point within the building will be shared with the hirer at the beginning of the hire.
Hirers will be accountable for cleaning and damage costs. It is the hirer’s responsibility to check the existing condition of venue at time of hiring and upon arrival, reporting any issues immediately to management.
Outside catering and liquor are allowed at no cost.
No smoking in building (dedicated smoking area outside).
