About this space
Welcome to Function Room 2 at Mitchell Park Sports and Community Centre, where your events come to life in a versatile and vibrant space. Our room offers the perfect setting with a capacity of up to 80 people for cocktails, 48 people for banquets, or 60 people in theatre-style seating.
The room boasts stunning views overlooking the oval, creating a lively and engaging atmosphere for your guests. With contemporary design and modern amenities, it's a flexible space that adapts seamlessly to different occasions.
Catering and bar options can be arranged for events in Function Rooms 1 & 2. Please note, kitchen access is not available with this space.
Function Room 2 is equipped with projector screens, multimedia, and audio systems. Free wi-fi is available, and technical support can be arranged to ensure your events run smoothly. Whether you're hosting presentations, workshops, or other events requiring AV facilities, our space has you covered.
Our venue is committed to inclusivity, with facilities designed to accommodate guests with disabilities. Accessible bathrooms and amenities are available for your convenience.

The public are welcome to enjoy the upstairs bar and balcony, open for the community from 5 pm Tuesday to Friday nights and from 11 am Saturdays and Sundays. Bistro dining is available from Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 5.30 pm, and Saturday from 12 pm. Contact the bistro on 7420 6499 to confirm open times and to make a booking.

These are designed to maintain a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment for all guests. By adhering to these space rules, we can all ensure that your hire is a success and that future guests can also enjoy our facilities.
At Mitchell Park Sports and Community Centre:
We kindly ask that you refrain from bringing your own alcohol; all alcohol must be provided by the Mitchell Park Sports and Community Centre as we hold the liquor license.
Prior approval is required for amplified sound or amusement structures.
Please refrain from using nails, screws, sticky tape, or tacks to fix decorations on any hard surface.
Avoid the use of free-floating balloons, confetti, and rice.
Kindly maintain the venue's cleanliness and leave it as you found it.

Additional details
The centre has ample parking on site with two large carparks on the East and West sides. For easiest access use the Moreland Avenue car park on the Western side. It is also a short walk from bus stops and from the Mitchell Park Train stop that runs between Flinders and Adelaide. Please check your public transport options for further information.
