About this space
Looking for somewhere to hold a cooking class than look no further! The Cumberland Park Mrs Strapps kitchen was specifically designed exactly for that purpose. Being built in 2019 it has three ovens, two hotplates and has kitchen equipment there ready to be used.
Commercial grade non slip floors and handwash basin on hand to ensure safety of your participants. The kitchen also is equipped with a commercial grade dishwasher with a 7 minute cycle so everyone can chip in and ensure the dishes are cleaned as you go.
As this is the main kitchen at the facility while hire allows you to use, other hirers may come in to get access to kitchen supplies during hire.

Rules
No smoking, pets or excessive noise outside the premises as our facilities are within residential areas.
This is a shared facility so other hirers may be onsite at the same time. We expect all hirers to be polite and inclusive. If you require exclusive use of our premises, then you will need to book the other spaces at our facility and your request is not guaranteed. Please refer to our code of conduct for our expectations and for any breaches that may occur.
Hirers are expected to ensure that the facility is left as clean as it was when you arrived at the end of your stay. Rooms are to be left clean and all items packed away according to the room layout diagram. Hirers will be charged a $100-$500 maintenance fee to return the room to prior set up that don’t comply.
All rubbish is to be removed by hirers at the end of their hire and placed into either one of the facilities bins or taken home. All recycling to be placed in yellow bins, food organics in the green bin and all plastic bags and general rubbish in the red/blue bins.
All hirers are obligated to conform to the City of Mitcham’s conditions of hire. You can view a copy at https://www.mitchamcouncil.sa.gov.au/community/community-centres.
All people must follow the Governments requirements regarding hand sanitising, maximum occupancy and social distancing requirements regarding Covid-19. All hirers are expected to complete a COVID safe plan. Please read more at https://www.covid-19.sa.gov.au/recovery/create-a-covid-safe-plan.
