About this space
The Mixingroom is a creative, symbiotic space situated in Burswood. It is a flexible space, designed to accommodate all creative possibilities and values artistic expression in all forms.
Currently housing 13 studio spaces, enjoyed by professional painters, ceramicists, musicians, a fashion designer, stylist and two street fashion labels, the Mixingroom also offers 45 sqm open space for short-term hire.
With its industrial warehouse appeal and natural lighting, the space lends itself to other possibilities, such as fashion/photography shoots, book launches, film interviews and pop up projects.
We envisage the space will offer variety of creatives the opportunity to explore creative possibilities that are dynamic, fascinating and at the forefront of artistic direction.
It is a space with a dual purpose – it is both for the people who make active use of it, and for those who engage in it as visitors.

- The shared space, the kitchen and bathroom must be kept clean and tidy at all times. This also applies to the stainless steel sink in the warehouse space – this must be kept clean and
clear after washing/rinsing own tools/equipment. - Project/work related rubbish must be disposed of in the provided green and yellow bins.
