About this space

The Library Meeting Room is a bright and modern space, ideal for meetings, seminars and workshops. Located on the first floor of Carnarvon Library & Art Gallery building, the room offers a fresh, inviting atmosphere with views overlooking the town oval.

The room accommodates up to 12 people and features air conditioning, a 43" Smart TV, projector with wall mounted projection screen and a whiteboard on castors. Internet access (Wi-Fi or Ethernet) is available.

It has a kitchenette area available with a bar fridge, and tea/coffee making equipment (coffee, tea and milk are not provided). The hirer can arrange for refreshments to be delivered to the venue or supply their own, including crockery and eating utensils.

The facility has access ramps and bathroom facilities to meet disability access requirements. The Meeting Room is fully accessible via a lift and is wheelchair friendly.

The venue is conveniently situated near the town centre within easy access of local shops and cafes. Parking is available in front of the building.

Community (non-profit) group Hire: Fee of $28 p/hr

Commercial Group Hire: Fee of $41 p/hr

  • Tables and chairs returned to initial layout (see diagram)

  • All rubbish to be placed in bin provided.

  • Hirer to provide all crockery & utensils.

  • All catering dishes/surplus food to be taken away by users

  • Whiteboard must be cleaned

  • Projector/ projection screen / TV should be turned off

  • Air conditioning unit should be turned off

  • The building is a Smoke Free Facility, which promotes no smoking within 5 metres of the Library entrance and no smoking in the building or on the balcony.

  • Participants must vacate the room at the agreed time.

  • The library reserves the right to cancel bookings under special circumstances.

Host's Cancellation Policy
100% refund on cancellations up until 7 days before your booking. After that, cancel and get a 10% refund.
