About this space
Positioned on the top floor, Ohakea is the perfect space for your board meetings, staff meeting or community group catch up!
The room has fantastic technology with a 70” smart TV that has easy laptop connectivity through HDMI and has zoom capability. The room is set up with chairs and tables,and has a white board available for use. Boardroom seating is comfortable for up to 15 people,but can be reset into numerous seating options depending on your booking requirements with a maximum number of 49 people allowed at one time.
The Ohakea room opens onto the rooftop terrace with easy access to a lift. There is a small kitchenette and toilet available nearby. Tea and coffee is provided, just need to bring your own milk.

Rules
Te Matapihi - Bulls Community Centre is a smoke and vape free venue.
Hirers are responsible for setting up, cleaning and packing down any furniture and equipment used during the hire period.
The Hirer must not use nails, tacks, screws, pins or any other instrument that will cause damages to the walls surfaces, furnishings, floors and ceiling surfaces.
Ballroom powder, coloured powder, confetti and/or glitter is not permitted in a Community Venue.
Cleaning equipment will be made available to all hire groups and the spaces hired must be left in good condition. All equipment utilised during the period of hire must be returned to the correct position at the end of the hire period.
Any additional cleaning performed by venue staff or contractors to get the facility back to a satisfactory condition may incur an additional charge.
After use, and before vacating the premises, the hirer must clean, and remove food, refuse and personal items from the premises.
Any damage to the building or the assets of the venue will result in the replacement or repair of the damaged property at the hirers cost.
Acquiring any necessary licenses or certificates (eg. Liquor Licenses) will be the responsibility of the hirer. Applications are available from the venue on request.
Additional details
Plenty of free public carparking is available. Intercity bus service right outside.
