The inviting inner-city Studios are ideal for professionals, agencies, & individuals who require acoustically-conditioned, high-quality media production facilities including Gigabit Fiber, 2-post dress rm, lounge & kitchenette. The Studios include a fully audio-conditioned 180-degree infinity-wall Green Screen film studio, a white-cyclorama for head & product shots, & an array of coloured paper-roll backdrops. The Audio-Pod is an ideal space to record your next podcast, voice-over, or audiobook.

About this space

BASEM3NT studios is a boutique audio-visual production house which includes a fully audio conditioned and soundproof filming and photographic studio with a 180-degree infinity green screen cyclorama and white cyclorama. You can make use of the sound-proofed audio recording booth as well as a screening room where you can view the outcome of your day's work, run screenings, or present to clients and investors.

The studio dry hire comes with the basic 3-point lighting rig and the cyclorama is lit with Lishuai LED's. With the basic rig, you can also use the Lupolux 1000 LED fresnel lamp and two soft-boxes which can also be rigged on the pantograph ceiling system. All lamps are 5600 daylight LED.

Catering and drinks packages can be organised upon request.

Rules

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF HIRE
As a Hirer, we ask that you please respect other Hirers and our staff by ensuring that you leave the studio exactly the way you found it. Thank you for your co-operation.

LEGAL LIABILITY
The Hirer accepts full responsibility for any damages arising from the Hirer’s use of Basement Enterprises’ premises, including but not limited to, personal injury and equipment damage. The Hirer will be liable for any loss, breakage or damage caused to Basement Enterprises’ premises, equipment or fixtures and fittings, and may be charged the full replacement cost of these items if they are lost or damaged. Basement Enterprises does not accept any liability for any monies held at the premises belonging to the Hirer or for any loss or damage to the equipment or personal effects of the Hirer or the Hirer’s associates.

USE OF PREMISES
Equipment: All care should be taken with any technical equipment owned by Basement Enterprises, including, but not limited to, all lighting and cameras. Only experienced photographers or assistants should work with the studio equipment. The Hirer is not to remove the light heads from the lighting supports due to potential damage.

STUDIO CLEANING and CYCLORAMA
All areas used by the Hirer must be kept clean and tidy at all times. If the studio needs to be cleaned to bring it back to original condition, the Hirer will be charged a minimum $35+GST cleaning fee (depending on the degree of remedial work required). The cyclorama is painted in chroma-key green/white and will be clean at the start of the Hirer’s rental. After rental, the cyclorama must be in same condition as it was before rental. To assist with this, the Hirer is welcome to use the cleaning products available in the studio. If the cyclorama needs to be painted by our staff to bring it back to its original condition, the Hirer will be charged a $80+GST repainting fee.

ACCESS and SECURITY
It is the Hirer’s responsibility to ensure that the studio is occupied at all times during use and is securely locked at all other times. Please contact Corinna on 0408 677 217 to discuss arrangements for site access or to negotiate after-hours access.

CAR PARKING
You can park in Featherstone Place for the loading in and out of your equipment. Please place your business card or phone number on the dash of your car in case the car needs to be moved. Car parking can be found at multilevel parking spaces on Gawler Place (north of Rundle Mall) and Grenfell Street, or in the many shorter-term parks around the city.

PAYMENT and DEPOSIT
Full payment is required to secure the booking.

CANCELLATION
Notification of cancellation must be received 12 hours prior to the agreed access time for a full refund. After this time, no refund will be available.

100% refund on cancellations up until 2 days before your booking. After that, cancel and get a 50% refund.
