A joint venture with the Western Bay of Plenty District Council and the Tauranga City Council, TECT Park is a facility with heaps of outdoor activities, including horse-riding, mountain-biking, bush walking and many others. The Arrival Centre is the terrain park's event space where you can wind down after activities or plan an event around the outdoors! Here's a list of events that the Arrival Centre would be perfect for:
A unique wedding venue: Let's face it - New Zealanders are known for being lovers of active recreation, so if you're a couple that falls into this category, TECT park and the Arrival Centre is perfect for a wedding that's out of the ordinary and celebrates your love for the outdoors! It's also outside of the hustle and bustle of city life, without having to travel too far (TECT park is half an hour from Rotorua and 40 minutes from Mount Maunganui).
Classes, workshop and lectures - Have a class on sustainability or outdoor activities? Running Scouts, Girl Guides or the like? Or just want to have a workshop with the native bush as backdrop?
