Stirk Park - Eastern Gazebo Hire ( 2 )

The City of Kalamunda has selected Advanteering Civil Engineers to construct a new playground and skate park at Stirk Park, Kalamunda.

The plans for the park include a half sized basketball court, exercise and play equipment, flying fox, picnic facilities: BBQs, bench seating and shade shelters, a new toilet block, a viewing platform, and a historic bridge. There will be a new junior play area complete with water fountain and sand play zones, a timber arbour meeting place, board walk, rope walk, shop front, zig zag climber and animal and human tracks telling a Dreamtime Story.

The skate park is a major highlight of the project and will contain Junior and Intermediate ‘Street Plaza’ and a Flow Bowl skate zones following feedback from young people in the City. There is also a range of playground facilities including a zig zag boardwalk, triple swing, thread chimes, talking tube, community pathway, all abilities double flying fox and a possum hangout.
