About this space

The Dandaragan Transit Park is a short stay campground with 6 powered sites and 14 unpowered sites.

On-site facilities include an ablution block with male and female toilets and a shower, barbeque and a nearby playground, potable water tap, and a waste dump point.

This is a family friendly park. Please always supervise children and pets and be considerate of others.

Please be a responsible guest by keeping your noise to a minimum, being courteous to neighbours, and ensuring that your site is cleared of all rubbish before you depart.

The historic town of Dandaragan is nestled amongst one of the last stands of Redgum Trees. The name ‘Dandaragan’ was first recorded in 1850 as the name of a nearby gully and spring or watering hole known as ‘Dandaraga Spring’. The word is indigenous Australian in origin and is thought to mean ‘good kangaroo country’. The town is surrounded by rich farmland and boasts many local attractions.
