SpacetoCo Host since October 2022Sporting Wheelies and Disabled Association is the peak body for sport, recreation and fitness for people with a physical disability or vision impairment in Queensland. We are a charity that fully supports the full variety of active goals people have, from increasing their mobility and independence, improving their health, and socialising, all the way through to representing their state or country in sport.
About this space
If you’re looking for a contemporary and accessible space, the boardroom at Sporting Wheelies and Disabled Association is the perfect option for meetings, workshops, small functions and brainstorming sessions.
The boardroom can seat up to 13 people and be used for many occasions. Including a television with a HDMI cord, a double-sided white board, two tables and 13 chairs, a tea & coffee station and privacy curtains, this space can be utilised to fit your specific needs. Catering can be organised at an additional cost, but you are welcome to organise your own food and non-alcoholic drinks. Please contact [email protected] to discuss your booking or catering options.
Our boardroom is located in Albion, only 500 metres from the Albion train station, and with local street parking and an on-site accessible carpark for guests. There are a variety of dining spots including cafes bars within walking distance of our location.
The center includes a gym and an indoor sports court which is used by our members between 8:00am and 5:00pm. Leading into the boardroom there is a spacious foyer, which can be included in the hire as well as a reception desk. Bathrooms are located in the building with both unisex and accessible toilets for use. The space is all on one level with wide doors and an easy-to-navigate floor plan.

Rules
- Please ensure your booking includes the time you need to set up and pack down.
- Please be aware that the venue is a multi-use space, please be respectful of all other patrons and maintain the rooms in a hygienic manner.
- Do not access the venue at times outside of your scheduled booking.
- No pets to be brought onto the premises (exception for guide dogs and registered support animals).
- As we do not have a liquor license, no alcohol can be brought onto the premises.
- Damage to the space needs to be reported and paid for.
- No smoking on the premises.
