About this space

The Lynbrook Community Centre aims to:

  • offer a focal point for community interaction

  • be a place where residents can access a range of activities, programs and services

By locating many different community service organisations under one roof, we can help bring much-needed services to the Lynbrook community.

Improving the health and wellbeing of residents is a key focus of all programs and events held at the Lynbrook Community Centre.

From coffee catch-ups, fitness classes and family movie nights, visitors to the centre are spoilt for choice with the regular activities.

Tutoring, counselling, dance classes and faith groups are also held at the centre and run by community groups.

Security Guard - Saturdays

This rate is for TWO (2) guards PER HOUR. Please indicate the total hours security will be on-site, from guest arrival until your event concludes. A FOUR (4) hour minimum is required. If extra guards are needed, we will contact you before confirming your booking.

Security Guard - Sundays
$148.84 per booking (18 available)
This rate is for TWO (2) guards PER HOUR. Please indicate the total hours security will be on-site, from guest arrival until your event concludes. A FOUR (4) hour minimum is required. If extra guards are needed, we will contact you before confirming your booking.

Security Guard - Weekdays
$100.92 per booking (18 available)
For events requiring security, an additional charge applies to cover two security guards per hour. Please include the total hours security will be on-site, from guest arrival until your event concludes. A minimum booking of four hours is required. If extra guards are needed, we’ll contact you before confirming your booking.

PLI
$15.00 per booking
All venue hires require Public Liability Insurance with a minimum coverage of $20,000,000. Insurance can be purchased for private and community hire in the next step. Organisations and businesses will be required to provide a copy of their current Public Liability Insurance certificate prior to the booking date.

Rules

Conduct:

  • All attendees must follow the Conditions of Hire.

  • Be considerate of others by keeping noise to a minimum.

Access

  • Rooms must only be used between approved hire times.

  • Any space not booked is restricted during your hire including common areas.

  • All bookings must include time for set up, pack up and cleaning.

Safety & Capacity:

  • Follow Council emergency and evacuation procedures.

  • Children under 18 must remain in the room and be supervised.

  • Do not exceed the room’s maximum seated or standing capacity.

Alcohol

  • Subject to approval and will require security.

Insurance

  • Public liability insurance (PLI) of $20 million is required for all venue hires. Any third-party contractors you engage, such as caterers, entertainers, equipment suppliers, or other service providers involved in your event, must also provide PLI of $20 million.

Additional details

Host's Cancellation Policy
100% refund on cancellations up until 21 days before your booking. After that, there are no refunds on cancellation.
