About this space
Lynbrook Community Centre offers Halls 1 and 2 for hire. These bright, versatile, and spacious halls can be used individually or combined to create a large event space, making them suitable for playgroups, children’s tutoring classes, training sessions, dance and fitness classes, community group meetings, religious gatherings, graduations, celebrations and much more.
Combined, Halls 1 and 2 can accommodate up to 220 people seated theatre style or 150 people seated around tables. The space features two projector screens which can be linked, audio equipment with HDMI connection for laptops, built-in speakers, two kitchenettes with hot-and-cold water dispensers (Billi taps), Adult tables and chairs, children’s tables and chairs, whiteboards, a portable stage, 2 microphones, and disco lighting, providing everything needed for presentations, performances, or community events.
These halls offer a practical, welcoming environment ideal for large-group activities, educational programs, and social gatherings.
Conveniently located at Lynbrook Community Centre with on-site parking and easy public transport access, the centre provides a versatile venue for community, business, and recreational needs.

Rules
Conduct:
All attendees must follow the Conditions of Hire.
Be considerate of others by keeping noise to a minimum.
Access
Rooms must only be used between approved hire times.
Any space not booked is restricted during your hire including common areas.
All bookings must include time for set up, pack up and cleaning.
Safety & Capacity:
Follow Council emergency and evacuation procedures.
Children under 18 must remain in the room and be supervised.
Do not exceed the room’s maximum seated or standing capacity.
Alcohol
- Subject to approval and will require security.
Insurance
- Public liability insurance (PLI) of $20 million is required for all venue hires. Any third-party contractors you engage, such as caterers, entertainers, equipment suppliers, or other service providers involved in your event, must also provide PLI of $20 million.
