About this space

$35 per hour hire fee & mandatory charge of $35 per booking flat fee for hire of kitchen/bar

$750 bond (not payable for regular hirers)

$1500 bond for high risk events (refer to hire booklet for more information)

Club Rooms with Toilet Facilities, Bar & Kitchen Facilities and Large Wooden Deck overlooking open space.

--You may not have exclusive access to the toilet facilities as they are shared with the Sports Grounds. If you have questions about Sports Grounds usage during your event, please ask us.--

About the space

Located in Minters Fields Estate, the Polo Club Rooms offer the following:
• Capacity for 117 people - accommodates 100 seated patrons (note this is reduced to 94 due to COVID and may reduced further depending on SA Government Directions in place)
• Main hall with beautiful wooden floors, overlooking large deck (approx. 55m2) and sports fields/open space
• Separate kitchen and separate bar with access through open windows to both in main area & access from bar to deck through open windows
• Men's toilets (1 urinal, 1 toilet)
• Women's toilets (2 toilets)
• Disabled toilet & baby change room

Rules

  • Smoking is not permitted in any Council Venue;

  • Smoke machines are not permitted in any Council Venue;

  • All breakages must be reported to Council. An audit of all equipment, including crockery & cutlery will be made after your hire;

  • The Polo Club Rooms must be returned to its original condition, cleaned and all rubbish removed away from the premises, therefore please ensure you book enough pre-event and post-event to facilitate this;

  • No alcohol is to be sold on the Premises, unless a copy of any applicable Liquor Licence is provided to Council before any such event, and consent has been granted;

  • Please note that if Council deems the activity proposed to require security, all costs associated will be at the expense of the hirer;

  • As the Polo Club Rooms are surrounded by residential houses, respect must be shown at all times for appropriate behaviour and noise level;

  • No muddy boots are allowed in the Polo Club Rooms;

  • No scooters or roller blades allowed on the wooden deck;

  • Line marking the Polo Sports Grounds is not allowed, unless you have previously obtained Council approval;

  • Parking is at the rear of the Polo Club Rooms; in the car park and/or on the road;

  • When leaving the Polo Club Rooms, please ensure the door between the main hall and toilets/showers is locked and check all external doors and windows are locked/closed.

100% refund on cancellations up until 14 days before your booking. After that, there are no refunds on cancellation.

The closest bus route is on Hurling Drive, approximately 2 kilometres from the Polo Club Rooms. Parking is at the rear of the Polo Club Rooms; in the car park and/or on the road.
