About this space
Boya Community Centre is a modern, versatile venue in the scenic foothills, popular for meetings, workshops, and events. Function Hall 1 (facing the oval) provides direct access to the kitchenette via a servery.

This venue is not available to be hired for high-risk events (including 16th, 18th, and 21st birthday parties).

Decorations - You are welcome to decorate the pavilion for your event. Please note pins, tape, BluTack or anything that would damage the walls is not permitted. You are responsible for leaving the facility as you found it, so all decorations must be removed. Please no oil-based smoke machines inside or confetti, rice, or party poppers outside.
Floor Type - Carpet
Kitchenette / Kiosk Facilities - The kitchenette may only be used for reheating food and no cooking is allowed on site. 600mm electric oven, four electric cooktops, two microwave ovens, continuous hot water system, free-standing hot water urn, double sink, separate hand wash facilities, serving trolley, and two domestic fridge/freezers. Please Note: Hirers must supply own crockery, cutlery, and glassware.
Lighting - LED downlight
Servery - Servery open to Function Hall 1 and veranda.
Stage - 2 x 1.5m x 3m moveable staging pieces with steps. Available upon request.
Toilets - 1 UAT with a baby change table, 1 Male & 1 Female public toilet
Wi-Fi - Free Wi-Fi is available for use at the venue seven days a 9:00 am to 10:00 pm

Rules
Applicants must be 18 years of age or over;
The Hirer is responsible for opening and securing the building.
The venue can only be accessed within the booked time. Your booking time must include set up and pack up time. All deliveries and collections to and from the venue must be during the booked time.
Any bookings finishing at midnight are allowed one hour for pack-up and cleaning free of charge until 1:00 am. All music needs to be turned off at midnight.
The venue must be left in a clean and tidy state.
The Hirer does not have the right to hire the Premises to a third party.
Requests for Amusements, Bouncy Castles and Inflatables must be submitted at least 14 days prior to the booking date. Requests made within 7 business days of the booking will not be accepted.
Private Amusements, Bouncy Castles and Inflatables are not permitted at any Shire of Mundaring venue.

Two sealed accessible car bays, 65 sealed car bays at the front of the building, one sealed accessible car bay, and 19 sealed car bays to the north of the building and ample verge parking along Clayton Road.
