Pakenham Scout Hall – Dining Room & Kitchen
Capacity: Up to 120 people
Our dining room, paired with the fully-equipped kitchen, is ideal for meals, small gatherings, workshops, or self-catered events.
Dining Room Features:
Reversible cycle air conditioner for year-round comfort
Flexible layout for luncheons, workshops, or meetings
Furniture: 15 trestle tables and 38 chairs (please request quantities in advance)
Kitchen Features:
Appliances: Stove and oven, two fridge/freezers, hot and cold running water, dishwasher
Cooking & Serving Essentials: Cutlery, crockery, cooking pots and pans, trays, and serving equipment
Convenience: Serving hatch connecting to the dining room for easy food service
Optional Equipment: Portable projector and screen available for hire
Additional Information:
Cleaning equipment provided; optional cleaning package available.
Internal bins and bin bags provided. All rubbish must be removed from the hall
Three toilets, including an accessible bathroom with shower
WIFI available
Wheelchair accessible entrance and designated parking

Pakenham Scout Hall – Guest Guidelines
To ensure a safe, enjoyable, and stress-free experience for everyone, please take a moment to review our venue guidelines.
House Rules
Smoke-Free: No smoking or vaping inside the hall or within 5 meters of the building.
Fire Safety: Please ensure the fireplace is fully extinguished and ash is cleaned before leaving. Triggering the fire alarm may incur fines.
Smoke Machines & Glitter: Not permitted inside the hall.
Alcohol: Consumption of alcohol is not allowed on the premises.
Wall Decorations: Only low-tack tape is allowed—please avoid nails, tacks, or push-pins to protect our walls.
Insurance: All incorporated groups (commercial or not-for-profit) must have their own public liability insurance.
Bond: A $100 bond applies to all casual bookings.
### **Decorating & Event Setup**
* **Decoration Setup:** You’re welcome to decorate! Please stick to low-tack tape and avoid anything that could damage walls.
* **Decoration Removal:** All decorations, including ties or tape, must be removed by the end of your booking.
* **External Event Hire:** If using an external supplier for furniture, tablecloths, drapes, or equipment, all items must be removed by the end of your booking. We cannot store items outside your booked time.
* **Outside Area Restrictions:** Confetti, rice, and party poppers are not permitted outdoors.
### **Booking & Cleanup**
* **Timing:** Please book enough time for setup, pack down, and cleaning, as the hall may be used immediately before or after your event.
* **Rubbish Disposal:** All rubbish must be removed from the hall at the end of your hire—this applies even if you have selected the cleaning package. Please ensure you take all rubbish with you when you leave
* **Cleaning Equipment:** All necessary cleaning equipment is provided for hirers. If you prefer, a cleaning package can be added to your booking, where we will mop the floors and wipe down benches after your event.

Pakenham Scout Hall offers several convenient parking options:
On-Site Parking: We have parking available at both the front and back of the hall, accommodating approximately 10 cars depending on vehicle size. Our circular driveway facilitates easy access and smooth entry and exit.
Additional Parking: There is a vacant block across the road with ample space for parking. Street parking is also available, although it may vary depending on the time of day.
Public Transport: We are a short 10-minute walk from Pakenham Train Station, providing an easy alternative for those using public transport.
