About this space
Muchea Recreation Centre Area 1 is home to the Muchea Judo Club, Konga with Sally D and Carter Dance for toddlers.
Nestled in the heart of the Muchea townsite this space in the overall facility is the perfect venue for small kids parties, fitness classes, meetings, or a community group meeting space.
Being part of a larger community sports complex, the facility is often bustling with local sports clubs undertaking training activities and games which will mean that although you have Area 1 booked for your activities, there will be other users across the venue.
There is a kitchenette included with the hire of MRC Area 1 which should cater for most needs. Hirers wishing to utilise the large commercial kitchen must book the Muchea Recreation Centre Kitchen in conjunction with their booking for MRC Area 1 as the MRC kitchen is only available to casual hirers outside of regular canteen days or by negotiation through the Shire Community Development Team
A club restricted liquor licence held by the Muchea Senior Cricket Club applies to this space in Winter between April and September

Rules
Dogs are permitted on the grounds but must be on a leash at all times and are not permitted inside the building.
This facility can only be hired until midnight. All music must cease by 11.45pm and guests must have vacated the facilities and car parks by 01.00am.
SPECIAL EVENTS: Permission may be sought from the Shire to extend the closure time. This must be applied for 30 (thirty) days prior to the event and the Shire will provide notification to the local police. Approval will be at the discretion of the Shire.
