Just a short picturesque drive from the metropolitan area north of Perth, Shire of Chittering is nestled in the northern hills of the Darling Range within the beautiful Destination Perth region.
Muchea Recreation Centre, Changerooms and Oval/Courts is home to the local football, cricket and netball clubs. This facility is also utlilised by other users such as judo, konga & dance.
The Recreation Centre and oval/courts is nestled in the heart of the Muchea townsite offering a great space for community events, family gatherings and sports pursuits. Our recreation centre is the perfect venue for functions, parties, fitness classes, meetings, quiz nights or a community group meeting space.
As a larger community sports complex, the recreation centre is often bustling with local sports clubs undertaking training activities and games.

Rules
Dogs are permitted on the grounds but must be on a leash at all times and must not disrupt other hirers or access the sports fields during use. No dogs are allowed in the Recreation Centre (service dogs excluded)
This facility can only be hired until midnight. All music must cease by 11.45pm and guests must have vacated the facilities and car parks by 01:00am.
Vehicle access is not permitted on the oval without prior approval from the Shire of Chittering. Contact 9576 4600.
SPECIAL EVENTS: Permission may be sought from the Shire to extend the closure time. This must be applied for 30 (thirty) days prior to the event and the Shire will provide notification to the local police. Approval will be at the discretion of the Shire.
