About this space
The Multi-purpose Room at Open Country Community Stadium is a flexible, fully equipped indoor space suitable for meetings, workshops, training sessions, and small functions for up to 40 people.
The room includes:
A full kitchen (oven, stovetop, dishwasher, fridge, microwave)
Tables and chairs (up to 10 trestle tables and ~100 chairs, depending on availability)
Heating and air conditioning
Step-free access via lift if required
It is located upstairs and can be accessed via internal stairs or the main foyer. If the room is booked with the Sports Hall, access will be automatically added to the hirer’s entry code.

Rules
To keep the space safe, clean, and ready for all users, the following rules apply:
General Use
No tape, nails, pins, or adhesives on walls or painted surfaces
Blu-Tack may only be used on glass
Keep fire exits and pathways clear at all times
Children must be actively supervised
Follow all kitchen safety instructions (e.g., switch appliances off at the wall after use)
Food & Kitchen
All dishes must be washed, dried, and put away or placed in the dishwasher and the cycle started
Remove all food from the fridge after your booking
Wipe down all benches, tables, and surfaces
Cleaning & Pack Down
Before departing:
Return all furniture to original layout
Sweep/vacuum floors
Empty and reline bins
Turn off lights, heating, appliances
Lock all windows and doors
Failure to leave the room tidy may result in additional cleaning charges or bond deductions.

Parking
Approximately 93 marked car parks are available onsite in the main front car park
Accessible parking bays are located near the main entrance
Additional public parking is available along Station Road
Overnight parking is not permitted — all vehicles must vacate by midnight
Only park in designated bays; no parking on grass unless approved
Loading zones and emergency accessways must always be kept clear
Overflow Parking
For larger events, overflow may be arranged on:
Approved grass areas (with MPDC approval)
Nearby street parking as directed by event organisers
