Marriott Waters Family and Community Centre offers a large community room for hire. A bright, flexible space perfect for corporate meetings, education and training sessions, health and wellbeing programs, and community celebrations.
The room measures 13.44 metres long by 11.17 metres wide, with a ceiling height of 3.0 metres. It can accommodate up to 100 people standing or 75 seated around tables, offering a welcoming atmosphere with plenty of natural light through its many windows. The room features carpeted flooring, providing a warm, comfortable, and practical environment for a wide range of activities.
It connects to a fully equipped kitchen at no extra charge, including a commercial dishwasher, large oven and stovetop, crockery, cutlery, glasses, mugs, and children’s plates, bowls and cups. Features include two large TVs with audio-visual capabilities, TV syncing, adult- and child-sized tables and chairs, a toilet within the room, and a secure outdoor courtyard.
The room is practical, comfortable, and suitable for large-scale programs, events, and community gatherings.

All attendees must follow the Conditions of Hire.
Be considerate of others by keeping noise to a minimum.
Access
Rooms must only be used between approved hire times.
Any space not booked is restricted during your hire including common areas.
All bookings must include time for set up, pack up and cleaning.
Safety & Capacity:
Follow Council emergency and evacuation procedures.
Children under 18 must remain in the room and be supervised.
Do not exceed the room’s maximum seated or standing capacity.
Alcohol
- No alcohol permitted.
Insurance
- Public liability insurance (PLI) of $20 million is required for all venue hires. Any third-party contractors you engage, such as caterers, entertainers, equipment suppliers, or other service providers involved in your event, must also provide PLI of $20 million.
