About this space
Function Area 1 is located at the top of Point Walter Reserve with a flatter, grassed and spacious surface being the only place to have approved marquees, bouncy castles or petting zoos and pony rides. This area is closest to the gate for vehicle access and features a neighbouring play ground, BBQ's, tennis courts and public facilities.

Rules
Bookings must include setup and pack-down time.
Bouncy castles and marquees are only permitted with required approval. Pegs/stakes are not permitted to secure structures or bouncy castles. Weights must be used to secure any structures (such as marquees).
Petting zoos, animal farms and pony rides may be permitted with approval and a permit.
No confetti are permitted.
Barbecues and playgrounds cannot be booked for exclusive use.
Other important information to note when making a booking
Reserve bookings are not accepted for Public Holidays, 18th or 21st birthday parties.
Hirers must comply with all City terms and conditions.
Public Liability Insurance of not less than $10 million is required for sporting bodies, clubs, associations, schools, and commercial entities and must be provided prior to booking approval.

Public transport and buses are available nearby.
Ample parking is available on Honour Avenue and at the end of Burke Drive. Overflow parking for events of more than 200 people is located at Attadale Foreshore, 51 Burke Drive and additional hire charges will apply as part of your booking.
