Club Hall – Ideal for Paddling, Non‑Profit & Community Groups
Our club hall is available for hire by paddling groups, non‑profit organisations, and other community‑focused groups seeking a practical and welcoming space for meetings, training sessions, workshops, and small events.
The venue is well suited to local clubs and associations looking for an affordable, community‑oriented space that supports active, recreational, and not‑for‑profit use.
Local groups are encouraged to get in contact with us prior to booking to discuss their proposed use. Approval may be required to ensure the hire aligns with the club’s purpose and availability. Eligible local and community groups may receive discounted hire rates where applicable.
If you’re unsure whether your group qualifies or would like to discuss ongoing or repeat use, please reach out—we’re happy to work with community organisations and support local participation.

Public Liability insurance is required for all hires.

Rules
Access & Time: Access details provided post‑confirmation. Booking time must include setup/pack‑down. Keep doors closed; use the doorbell for late arrivals.
Capacity: Hall 50; (Balcony 22 max capacity).
Insurance: Public Liability required for commercial/community/public events.
Decor & Care: No attaching items to walls/ceilings. No confetti/glitter. Return furniture to original layout.
Cleaning: Leave as found. Wipe surfaces, spot‑clean, sweep if needed. Remove all items. Take all rubbish. Extra cleaning/damage may be charged
Alcohol: Only with a City of Belmont Liquor Licence and full compliance.
Smoking/Vaping: Not within 10m of AKC facilities.
Prohibited: Open flames/candles, fireworks/pyro, smoke/fog machines, hazardous/illegal items.
Children & Water: Actively supervise, especially on the balcony and near water.
Safety: Emergency assembly point AKC car park. AEDs: bottom of stairs & outside lower glass doors. Bring your own first aid kit.
