A meeting, event and performance venue. With a meeting room for up to 30 that includes whiteboard and video presentation screen. The auditorium has seating for 200 guests in theatre style or table dining for around 180 seated. The large stage includes projection, stage lighting and haze. An 18 channel X-Air mixer into powered FOH audio with monitors available for an additional fee. Our commercial kitchen can host over 200 guests for dining and is available for individual hire.

About this space

The Algie Hall auditorium is the best video/movie and performance venue in the district.

Perfect for your stage performance or musical event. With seating for over 200 guests in theatre style and full stage lighting and audio available.
Fully equiped commercial kitchen for 200 dining guests.

Furniture:Tables and chairs are included in the hire.

  • Auditorium: The main hall has 200 chairs, 16 x Rectangle Tables that seat 6 & 10 x Round table tops with tables to seat 8 to 10 and there is a chair trolley provided for easy manoeuvre.

  • AV ​Equipment: The main hall includes a data projector, a back wall screen on stage, integrated audio, HDMI connectivity. A handheld wireless microphone and FoH PA is available for hire.

  • Kitchen: The kitchen is fully equipped with a large prep area, oven, gas cooktop, fridge, hot water urn, canteen/servery window, cooking utensils and crockery, cutlery and glassware for 200. perfect for large functions that are fully catered.

  • Heating/Cooling: There are four split systems in the main hall and one in the meeting room.

  • Decorations: We encourage you to decorate the venue to add a personal touch for your function. Please ensure no decorations are fixed to the walls or ceiling using nails or hooks and that they can be easily removed at the end of your function.

  • Jumping Castle/Animal Farms: Jumping Castles and Animal Farms/Petting Zoos are not permitted.

  • Customer Inspections: If you would like to inspect the venue to ensure it meets your needs and expectations, please send an email to [email protected]. Please note, inspections are carried out between 9am and 4pm Monday to Friday and may depend on venue and officer availability.

  • Booking Exclusions: Please note the following items and services are not included at this venue:

Audio and Lighting control box available, for audio, video and lighting tech to control, can be booked, located above auditorium entry.

A fixed ceiling data projector projects to the stage back wall. The projector has both HDMI & VGA input cables with audio breakout to the PA. Connection to the projector is via either the stage or the lighting box. PA/sound system available and 3 wired mics and one wireless mic can be hired at via the AV package that includes the lighting rig however you will need to have ours or your own techie to manage it.

100% refund on cancellations up until 7 days before your booking. After that, cancel and get a 90% refund.
Parking and Public Transport Information

The area has free on and off-street parking available across the road infront of the Primary School. This is usually available after school hours and is first come first serve for all hall users.
