Good Social Space is a sleek, classy venue designed to feel both inviting and refined. Filled with natural light and softened by sheer curtains, the space can be styled for anything from intimate dinners to professional workshops and meetings. Its warm, bright and cosy atmosphere also allows it to shift easily between formal and casual events.

With direct street access and ample parking both along the street and beside the building in the long driveway, arrival is simple and convenient. Inside, the venue includes stylish seating for up to 50 guests and a dedicated bar area with a refrigerator and sink.

Key features include an in-built Bluetooth sound system and an optional electric projector screen with 4K Projector Hire and 2 microphones for presentations. Adjustable lighting lets you choose between bright LED or softer ambient tones, and heating and air conditioning ensure comfort in every season.

Private, quiet and beautifully designed, Good Social Space provides an ideal setting for successful events of all kinds. The feature wall, arched mirrors and flowing curtains make it especially photogenic, adding a polished touch to any occasion.

Rules

Space Rules & Conditions of Hire

To ensure the safety, respect, and smooth operation of our venue and wider community, all hirers and guests must comply with the following conditions:

Community & Site Guidelines

  1. No alcohol or pork products are to be consumed or brought onto the premises, in alignment with our community values.

  2. No animals are permitted on site at any time.

  3. No food is to be left on site after the event. All rubbish must be bagged and placed in the designated bins located around the side of the venue.

  4. CCTV surveillance is active 24/7, both internally and externally, for safety and security purposes.

Conduct & Use of Space

  1. Hirers shall conduct and manage their function at all times in an orderly, respectful, and lawful manner.

  2. Only the space(s) hired may be accessed and used. Entry into non-hired areas is strictly prohibited.

  3. Smoking is NOT permitted anywhere inside the café venue, including toilets.

  4. Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.

Event Management & Equipment

  1. Hirers must provide all their own resources, including catering, stationery, signage, decorations, and any other materials required to successfully manage their event.

  2. The use of confetti, adhesive tape, nails, tacks, sparklers, candles (with the exception of candles on a cake), open flames, or any items that may cause damage to the facility is not permitted, inside or outside the venue.

  3. Any electrical equipment to be used on the premises must be discussed with and approved by management prior to the event.

  4. Bump-in and bump-out (set-up and pack-down) must occur strictly within the agreed hire times.

Damage, Liability & Security

  1. The hirer accepts full responsibility for any damage to the premises, furniture, or equipment during the hire period and agrees to cover all costs required to repair or replace damaged items, at management’s discretion.

  2. In the event that any third party sustains bodily injury or property damage arising from the hire or event activities, the hirer accepts full responsibility and agrees to discharge any related claims in full.

  3. Good Social Café Management accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to any goods, equipment, or personal items brought onto or left on the premises before, during, or after the hire period.

  4. It is the hirer’s responsibility to ensure the premises remain secure at all times during the hire period. Doors must not be left unlocked or unattended. All rooms and buildings must be properly locked and/or alarmed upon departure, even for short absences.

  5. Management reserves the right to terminate an event without refund if any of these conditions are breached or if the safety of patrons, staff, or the premises is compromised.

Additional details

Host's Cancellation Policy
100% refund on cancellations up until 7 days before your booking. After that, there are no refunds on cancellation.
Parking and Public Transport Information

Free parking is permitted along the side of the building in our driveway, alternatively there is street parking available
