Turangi Senior Citizens Hall has a fully functioning kitchen, providing a convenient space for food preparation and catering services. With the necessary appliances, the kitchen allows for efficient cooking and serving during events and gatherings. Please provide your own amenities.
With a seating capacity of up to 150 people, the hall can comfortably accommodate a considerable number of guests. Rules
The Hirer must be 18 years or over and remain on the premises for the duration of the event. The Hirer is responsible for the condition of the hired venue.
Facilities are to be left in the same condition prior to booking. All items returned to their original place. The user shall only be entitled to use the specified areas of the facility booked.
Maintain a smoke-free environment within the community hall premises.
Overnight accommodation not available at the hall.
Dispose of trash in designated bins and report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate personnel.
Be mindful of noise levels to ensure a peaceful environment for everyone and avoid excessive noise that may disturb others.
Music is required to conclude at 11.30pm and premises vacated by midnight.

The hirer warrants and agrees that the Hall will not be used for any performance or activity that is of an objectionable nature, is in breach of reasonable standards of public decency, unlawful or is likely to create a nuisance.
Council may cancel the Hall hire if Council reasonably considers that the staging of the Event or the nature of the Event will, or might, contravene any statute, order, regulation, bylaw, rule of law or any other requirements of a public or local authority or otherwise be in breach of reasonable standards of public decency.
Council may cancel the Event if it reasonably considers that the management or control of the Event is deficient or inadequate and is such that could lead to danger or injury to any person or material damage to any property, including the Hall itself.
