Tiwu Kumangka Community Hall 1.8 includes roof terrace

Our gorgeous Community Hall is the largest space available to hire within the Blackwood Community Centre. The multipurpose space can be utilised for a range of health and wellness activities, workforce training and meetings, celebratory events and so much more.
It includes access to the adjoining open-air terrace, that overlooks the Waite Reserve and boasts views of the coast. The versatility of the space is further complimented by a retractable main stage and two large AV screens, as well as a range of lighting and privacy options.
The space offers 12 round tables and seating for up to 100 people. There is a kitchenette located within the hall, perfect for a coffee and tea station; or speak to Blackwood Community Centre staff regarding use of the Community Kitchen.
A surcharge applies for non City of Mitcham residents and commercial entities. The rate of hire is $44.00/hour for City of Mitcham Residents, Community Groups, Not for Profit and Government organisations.
