Exmouth Campgrounds is a very good and reasonably priced place to stay in Exmouth. From what I understand, it's managed by the local council – and honestly, we need more places like this for travellers on a budget. Facilities are simple but sufficient: perfect for those who don’t need anything fancy. After days of being stressed by rangers elsewhere, it was such a relief to find a place where I could sleep peacefully without worrying about being moved on in the middle of the night. I really appreciated the safe and calm atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Absolute shit hole! Can't expect too much for 17 bucks a night, but what a mess. The tourists living here ought to be ashamed of themselves. Take a bit more pride in your camp set up and don't leave all your shit lying around for the Shire to collect. Take it to the tip like every other local and good citizen.
