I hired the place for my baby shower. It was a success. Place is clean and tidy and easy to set up and pack up. I had a bouncy castle, bubble house, few chairs and table that gave enough space. Additional essential could have been useful like some utensils,dust pan, more indoor bins. Other than that great for a big party. Would hire it again!

I didn't had a good experience with the Rivervale Community Centre main hall. Initially, the switch points were not working in the main hall. Luckily, we got extension cords to use them by connecting the power sockets from kitchen and store room. The most annoying thing is the AC wasn't working. We have over 60 guests and everyone was sweating. So, we had to open the doors to avoid suffocating. It wasn't a pleasant experience for us.

I can confirm, upon notification of these issues a Facilities staff member attended to assist. Contractors also arrived shortly after and fixed both issues.
