Awesome place to stay, the rooms and facilities were amazing and the staff so friendly. We ordered dinner too and could only eat half of what was provided. Had a nice walk around the arboretum and then relaxed in front of the fire in our lovely accom. Highly recommend.

I had a fantastic stay! The bunk room was clean and the mattress was very comfortable. I had a great sleep! The kitchen facilities are top notch. I found everything I needed quickly and easily. The shower was really good. The water they use is rain water so I kept it short to conserve water. The library is beautiful! The sunrise this morning was beautiful! The staff here are super friendly and very helpful! 10 out of 10!

Our mission is centred on conservation education and research. Our walks cater for all levels of fitness and ability, from flat tree-lined paths to a steep climb up Mt Arateitei which rewards visitors with glorious views of the arboretum and the surrounding countryside.
