This historic Church of St Luke was a most beautiful place to hold a solo recital for cello in an evening of Bach. The acoustic is sublime - all wooden surfaces (no carpet), perfect for voice and live music which support and enhance the resonance and expressivity of the cello. The church is central, easy to find and has good parking. For the audience it was comfortable and warm. Pews are arranged in a circle, best for sight and sound. And the custodians, Tristan and Rev. Claire Barry were such an excellent help and support. Many thanks to you both ! Raeul Pierard
