About this space
Activity Room A&B is a versatile space within Mitchell Park Sports and Community Centre, with an area of 105 sqm suitable for 55 people.
The space features projector screens, multimedia and audio systems, free Wi-Fi and reverse cycle air-conditioning to ensure a comfortable and conducive environment for your event. Guests are encouraged to bring their own tech equipment to meet their specific needs. The space includes access to a kitchenette equipped with a fridge/freezer, microwave, instant hot/cold water tap, oven, and stove.
External catering is allowed, and guests are welcome to bring their own food and beverages to complement their event. Please note alcohol is not permitted at this Centre due to liquor licensing.
The Centre is equipped with facilities for guests with disabilities, including accessible bathrooms and amenities.

To ensure that everyone enjoys their time with us, and to ensure all hires run smoothly, we have established some space rules. These are designed to maintain a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment for all guests. By adhering to these space rules, we can all ensure that your hire is a success and that future guests can also enjoy our facilities.
At Mitchell Park Sports and Community Centre:
We kindly ask that you refrain from bringing your own alcohol; all alcohol must be provided by the Mitchell Park Sports and Community Centre as we hold the liquor license.
Prior approval is required for amplified sound or amusement structures.
Please refrain from using nails, screws, sticky tape, or tacks to fix decorations on any hard surface.
Avoid the use of free-floating balloons, confetti, and rice.
Please set the room up with tables and chairs provided and after your hire return to the correct location as per the instructions in the room.
Kindly maintain the venue's cleanliness and leave it as you found it ready for the next hirer.
As this is a shared space and multiple hirers use this venue, we kindly ask that you take rubbish home with you to avoid overflow of bins.
Return your access card in the dropbox located under the tv in the foyer to avoid any fees.

Additional details
The centre has ample parking on site with two large carparks on the East and West sides. For easiest access use the Moreland Avenue car park on the Western side. It is also a short walk from bus stops and from the Mitchell Park Train stop that runs between Flinders and Adelaide. Please check your public transport options for further information.
