About this space
Manna Gum Family and Community Centre offers a large community room for hire that is ideal for hosting events, programs, meetings, and activities and is available for both regular and casual hire bookings. The room measures 13.5 metres long by 9.9 metres wide with ceiling height of 2.5 metres at the lowest point. It can accommodate up to 100 people standing or 70 people seated at tables.
The room is located on the first floor of the facility and can be accessed using the lift or the stairwell. It connects to a fully equipped kitchen at no extra charge, including crockery, cutlery, oven, stove top, and fridge. Room hire also includes access to projector (you must bring your own HDMI cable), adult- and child-sized tables and chairs, and a secure, partially covered outdoor area with electric BBQ.

Rules
Conduct:
All attendees must follow the Conditions of Hire.
Be considerate of others by keeping noise to a minimum.
Access
Rooms must only be used between approved hire times.
Any space not booked is restricted during your hire including common areas.
All bookings must include time for set up, pack up and cleaning.
Safety & Capacity:
Follow Council emergency and evacuation procedures.
Children under 18 must remain in the room and be supervised.
Do not exceed the room’s maximum seated or standing capacity.
Alcohol
- No alcohol permitted.
Insurance
Public liability insurance (PLI) of $20 million is required for all venue hires. Any third-party contractors you engage, such as caterers, entertainers, equipment suppliers, or other service providers involved in your event, must also provide PLI of $20 million.
