About this space
Situated within the Zig Zag Cultural Centre, the purpose-built venue allows you to host small meetings, workshops, group activities, training sessions and educational sessions in a tranquil setting. Available all year round – seven days a week, day or evening. Please note this facility is not set up for functions.
The space can hold maximum 25 people standing and 20 people seated.
Features of this space include: audio visual equipment - projector with drop down screen, free wifi, heating and cooling systems, kitchenette facilities (shared space with room B), chairs, trestle tables, is accessible, accessible toilet. • The Terms & Conditions must be read and Public liability Disclaimer filled out for your booking to be approved.
• Include set up and pack down time if more than 15 minutes required when making your booking.
• The hirer is responsible for leaving the venue in a clean and tidy condition - Furniture stacked away in designated storage areas.
• Excess rubbish is to be placed in the outside wheelie bins provided (near seminar room B entry).
• Recyclable rubbish needs to be taken with you or placed in the recycle bin on the Visitor Centre back veranda, not in the recycle bins near the bin compound, they belong to the café.
• Any damage more than wear and tear will be the responsibility of the hirer.
• The driving of tacks, nails, screws or fixing of blue tack etc. into any of the woodwork or walls or any part of the building, furniture or fixtures is strictly forbidden. No talcum powder, paint, sawdust or resin is to be used. No internal or external decorations are permitted to be erected without the approval of Council Officers. If floors are damaged in any way a charge will be made for restoration.
• The proprietor is not responsible for any theft occurring through the duration of venue hire.
• Any damage sustained must be reported as soon as possible.
• All lights and electrical appliances are to be switched off, windows secured, internal doors and exit doors locked and facility armed prior to exit.
CLEANING
The area/s of use should be left in a clean and tidy condition immediately after use to ensure other Hirers are not disadvantaged. Failure to observe this will result in the Hirer being billed for additional cleaning. Cleaning products are supplied and located in the kitchen.

Public parking available on the corner of Spring Rd and Williams St, and Railway Rd and Stirk St. ACROD bays are available.
There is a bus stop outside the Zig Zag Cultural Centre on Railway Rd and the Kalamunda bus station is 500m away.
