Windsor Park Sportsground - Windsor Avenue
About this space
Bordering Hastings' waterpark Splash Planet, Windsor Park is a popular spot in the summer for family sports and picnics, with a free-to-use barbecue and picnic tables on site.
Windsor Park recreational area is used by Central Football in the winter months for junior football and Hawkes Bay Cricket Association in summer for cricket. It is also available for hire to the public and has been used successfully for Flag Football, Ultimate Frisbee, School Cross Countries and senior athletics events to name a few.
For the purpose of recreational space the park is in three areas. This space is for the grass fields on Windsor Avenue which run from the treeline through to the boundary with the Top 10 Holiday park. It runs to the tree line. From April to August three junior football fields are marked here and during summer months there is a boundary circle marked for cricket which is played on the two artificial cricket wickets.
Depending on the size of your event you may wish to book multiple recreational spaces at Windsor Park.
Line marking can be done specific to your event.

No BBQ’s under trees or during fire bans
No bouncy castles/large inflatables at Cornwall Park, Havelock North Village Green, and Flaxmere Park and with all other parks hirer needs special permission
